Manhood Wildlife and Heritage Group

We are a small charity  that aims to engage people in caring for and learning about their local wildlife and heritage. Our volunteers/members manage a number of sites for wildlife and carry out a range of wildlife surveys. We are also coordinating two major projects. The first is a Water Vole Project which aims to monitor populations, improve ditch habitats and increase awareness of this endangered mammal. The second is a Recreational Disturbace Mitigation Project, in partnership with Chichester District Council. We also produce a range of posters and walks leaflets to inform people about local wildlife and heritage and to raise funds for the group.
